London App Works LTD, active between 2016 and 2024, is out of business, no longer trading and is undergoing an orderly closure. All apps, services and IP holding activities have ceased. Thank you to every client, partner and colleague for the trust and support you placed in us.

We are focused on completing the wind down responsibly while meeting all outstanding obligations.

Background

The decision to close followed a prolonged period of economic pressure. Several converging factors left the company without a sustainable path forward.

• The fiscal burden and complexities introduced by IR35 regulation removed the flexibility that previously allowed us to operate efficiently, albeit with ever thinning profit margins.
• A dwindling market and the wider decline of the UK economy reduced demand and made it difficult to remain competitive.
• Our nearshore model relied on combining strong UK revenues with moderate Hungarian team rates, yet the tightening of IR35 rules and the Hungarian state ending its self employment scheme at the same time removed that leverage.
• With the general market downturn, running the business was no longer economically viable.

Rather than overstretch the organisation, the directors elected to close the company in a controlled manner.
